Sofa Records / 2017 Something musically new for me: German band STINGER started out as a first class AC/DC tribute act, focussing on the Bon Scott era, but with this kick ass album, they went from just covering to doing original tracks in full on Aussie Rock'n'Roll fashion! With a couple former AC/DC and ROSE TATTOO members on board (incl. the one and only Simon Wright!), they managed to really capture the spirit of the early AC/DC days - something, I had never done before.
